The Kansas City Chapter of Meeting Professionals International (KCMPI) hosted its annual Professional Education Conference and was lucky enough to share the knowledge and experience of Lynne Wellish, CMP, CHSE. Lynne presented a particularly meaningful education session – “Could You Do Just One More Thing?” – outlining the necessity of setting boundaries and learning to say no. That message is a daily reminder for busy professionals of the importance of balancing work and life! Lynne delivered this relevant topic in a sincere and artful way, showcasing her uncanny ability to speak from the heart and from the lessons learned in her more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry. What a great take-away from an outstanding speaker! Lynne also presented an additional education session – “Language of AV for Beginners” – which was equally well received and valuable to both meeting planners and suppliers alike.
