Hi Lynne, Another fabulous presentation. I thought last week was even better than NEC … because there seemed to be more interaction with the audience, the energy level was higher with more humor. As a result, we all learned more and were more entertained. I always enjoy you!

Lynne, It was a pleasure meeting you at Connect SW. I very much enjoyed your presentation, “Can you do just one more thing?” The title immediately caught my eye when I registered for the conference, it is a very relatable topic. You had a great energy and presence, and I appreciated hearing from such a seasoned professional.

In April, the Kansas City Chapter of Meeting Professionals International (KCMPI) hosted its annual Professional Education Conference and was lucky enough to share the knowledge and experience of Lynne Wellish, CMP, CHSE. Lynne presented a particularly meaningful education session – “Could You Do Just One More Thing?” – outlining the necessity of setting boundaries and learning to say no. That message is a daily reminder for busy professionals of the importance of balancing work and life! Lynne delivered this relevant topic in a sincere and artful way, showcasing her uncanny ability to speak from the heart and from the lessons learned in her more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry. What a great take-away from an outstanding speaker! Lynne also presented an additional education session – “Language of AV for Beginners” – which was equally well received and valuable to both meeting planners and suppliers alike.

Thank you so much again for all of your hard work and preparation for this webinar. People were very engaged and you gave them so many useful tips for their upcoming events. Zibby was in the education inbox yesterday and said a ton of people asked for a copy of your slides for their reference.
I think people really respond to the way you present because it is relatable and you are not afraid to admit the mistakes you have made in the past. For example, not charging clients for extra work. I love the way you gave an example of a friend who did charge, explained why she should, and validated the fact that you may not have charged when you first started, but now know that it is something that should be done. That YOU (and your listeners) are worth it, and there is no reason why you shouldn’t be paid for all the work you do.
