A little something about me…
My true passion is mentoring, training, and coaching people in the Hospitality and Event Industry. As a seasoned industry professional, I understand the dynamics of hospitality management. I’m a subject matter expert who knows the difficulties in everyday challenges, and I provide clarity to overcome those challenges easily.
I have a degree in Hospitality Management from UNLV (University of Nevada, Las Vegas) and I hold the following certifications – Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), Certified Hospitality Sales Executive (CHSE) and Certified Hotel Owner (CHO). Additionally, I’ve been in the hospitality industry for over 30 years and I am a faculty member of the HRM (Hotel and Resort Management) Program at Scottsdale Community College.
My accolades include AZMPI’s chapter’s Mentor of the Year Award, the Ed Scannell Leadership Award for Lifetime Achievement and The Arizona Society of Association Executive Membership Award for designing and executing the AZMPI Volunteer-a-thon.
It’s my belief that learning should be fun. This is not just my position, but a scientific one as well. My presentation style is highly interactive with a contagious energy that seeps into each presentation, providing educational instruction that is useful, fun, and engaging.

I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for speaking at our MPIPHL EI this past February! It was a huge success and all the attendees learned so much. We really appreciate your partnership and support.
I took a lot from your presentation not only for applying to events, however, also life. Glad I made it.
